It's December, and for those of us on the eastern seaboard of the United States, it means the approach of snow, ice and chill. The days are shorter and it's a little harder to exit the bed after spending the night tucked safely under a pile of warm blankets. Hot chocolate tastes positively therapeutic in December and at the end of a long week, it's a special pleasure to sip some by the fireside with your favorite book and some warm fuzzy slippers.

This month, take Just A Moment to:

1. Be grateful for the warmth of friends and family, who take the edge off the winter chill.

2. Enjoy the Christmas Story as it is told in the Bible. My personal favorite is found in the first two chapters of Luke.

3. Write a note to a friend and tell her how much she has blessed your life in 2005.
